Both "unfairness" and "bias" mean lack of justice.

Both "some" and "couple" mean a few.

Both "force out" and "displace" mean to move something out.

Both "classify" and "grade" mean to put something into a group.

Both "noticeable" and "visible" mean easily seen.

Both "random" and "arbitrary" mean done without careful thoughts.

Biases are inclinations against a group that are unfair. Some teachers may expect boys and girls to act in a certain way. If some do not behave as expected, the teacher may falsely consider that they have special needs. By adopting new procedures, it is hoped that gender biases can be reduced.

Stars are very far away from Earth. Therefore, they are only visible, or easily seen, to our eyes with magnification. Telescopes have magnifying lenses that produce bigger images of objects so that distant things become visible.

If people think the leader's decisions are made without careful consideration, the decision-making process can be said to be arbitrary, meaning random.

In a city without much flat land, construction of a highway may require a redesign of land use. Buildings may need to be removed in order to free up space. As a result, the people living there need to move to other areas. In other words, they are displaced by the construction project.

Rough diamonds are natural diamonds that have not undergone any procedures after being dug from ground. To make them look good and ready for sale, diamond workers need to polish them and group, or grade, them according to quality.

The patient's leg is probably hurt really badly that he is immobile. The doctor's advice is to follow what he or she has suggested, and then the patient will be able to walk again within a few, or a couple of, days.
